Women In Technology Workshop

In 2015, TechHOUNDS launched the first central Indiana Women in Technology Workshop (independent of the Carmel school system), a novel student-run conference that encourages middle school girls from across Indiana to pursue STEM careers. In addition to computer science (featuring the 1150 Coding Academy) and CAD sessions, the program hosts an interdisciplinary panel (open to the public) and private discussion between industry, government, and education, to increase female representation in STEM.
