Carmel Clay School Board: On several occasions, TechHOUNDS has addressed the Carmel Clay School Board (serving 12000+ students),
demonstrating the importance of hands-on robotics education. Not only has this reinforced our administration's support of the
TechHOUNDS; several elementary and middle schools across the district have been provided official school system support to start
after-school robotics fairs and teams, many of which are mentored by the TechHOUNDS.
2016 PLTW (Project Lead The Way) Summit: TechHOUNDS Robotics have been invited to present at the 2016 PLTW Summit on the importance of developing a strong partnership between in-class engineering education and real-world STEM experiences (specifically, FIRST Robotics). This opportunity is a testament to the commitment of the TechHOUNDS' program to continually strengthening STEM education across our community.
TEDxCarmel 2015: TechHOUNDS members were invited to speak at the TEDxCarmel 2015 Conference, featuring 100+ attendees and organizers, to discuss the importance and positive impact of creating innovative engineering education programs (such as FIRSTEP and the Women in Technology Workshop) across society.
